El conocimiento como bien social y la Biblioteca de Babel

I wanted to upload this talk to YouTube from a long time, but it doesn't accept OGG : (. Today, I have converted this talk from OGG to MP4 succesfully, after doing a lot of tests with ffmpeg and installing some ugly codecs. I highly recommend you watch it. It comes from Wikimania 2009 and it is about Wikipedia and the similarities with Babel Library, a fictional library from a Borges' story. It is in Spanish and it is published under a CC-BY-SA 3.0 license.

Este documental lo vi hace algún tiempo, y aunque me pareció un poco apocalíptico, sí que tiene bastante razón. Se llama La oscura era digital, y trata de cómo los formatos de almacenamiento actuales podrían ser ilegibles en un futuro no muy lejano.

Como los que visitan el blog están obsesionados con la información y el conocimiento, supongo que disfrutarán viéndolo.
